Name: Takashi Sakamoto
Nickname: Saga; Taka
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Job: Kennel Owner/Musher (Races, and takes those without a team into the wilderness if they wish)
Appearance:
Personality: A gentle-natured guy who loves animals, especially his team of dogs and his beloved non-sledding dog, Chiko. He doesn't hunt and is hesitant to take hunters out into the wilderness using his team, but he will do it because he knows he needs to make money. Dogs are his life and he has bred each and every one of the ones he currently has now. Either that or he's selected them each carefully from the breeders he knows and trusts.
When he's not out sledding, or playing with his dogs, Takashi is a very avid lover of music. He keeps an acoustic guitar in his home and plays it when he's bored. He's actually quite talented with it, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise that he likes to play it for his dogs as well.
With a rather rough past, Takashi isn't without his problems, but over all he's a pretty good guy. He has a very high boiling point, so it takes a lot to get him roughed up and actually where he'll get angry. Even then he doesn't so much as explode as he does seethe, the silent showing of anger.

History: Takashi was kicked out of the house at the young age of sixteen. It was all because of an incident with a friend where they had both gotten rather hot and bothered from watching porn on the computer--typical healthy, male teenagers--and decided to try stuff with one another. They hadn't gotten any farther than groping when Takashi's father had walked in and it had all went downhill from there. Takashi was forced out of the house with numerous cuts and bruises and along with his dog had to find somewhere to live.
He tried every place that he knew, but upon explaining the situation they would all turn him away. This was when he made the first mistake of his life. With nowhere to go and no way to get food for either himself or Chiko, nor shelter for them, Takashi turned to the one place he knew would take him in for a job and a place to stay. Prostitution.
There he was given a room for him and his dog and in return for letting his body be used for sex he lived there until he was nineteen. That's when he knew he had to get out and with the help of some of his friends from the prostitution he was able to do so, and to avoid having to return by being caught Takashi took the cheapest flight he could find to America--which turned out to be to Alaska--and that was how he ended up here.
Thankfully some people helped him get a cabin and helped him to better his English. To this day he has quite a bit of an accent, but he's still rather understandable.
