Personality: As the oldest one would think that Sura would be the leader of the litter, but in fact she's quite the opposite. She's very outgoing, but when it comes to fighting she's a total pacifist, and hates being in the leadership role. She'd rather leave it to Oilaq and Ipiktok to fight out (which they do). With this comes a greatly overbearing friendly nature. In her mind she thinks anything can be her friend, even a human. This mindset worries Atka because there have been many-a-time in which she has tried to justify the humans' actions all the while not knowing her mother was killed by them. Atka refuses to give them that knowledge, even Sura whom he believes it would benefit greatly.
Sura has her own since of finesse and beauty. She's very refined and has an intellectual air about her, while at the same time maintaining the innocence of her youth. It almost seems that her innocence and naivety will stay with her beyond childhood, but that remains to be seen. For the time she's simply carefree and willing to meet with anyone who will willingly become her friend. She has the incredible sense to see the good in everyone, and perhaps this will one day change the fate of not only herself, but others too. Atka knows she's destined for great things.

Hunters stumbled upon the den and while their mother was dutifully protecting them from the humans' hands she was killed, but not without injuring one of the humans with her fangs. At the time Atka was off hunting for them with Mitsuna, his other packmate. Atka heard the gunshots go off and instantly he was racing back, leaving Mitsuna to catch something for them. When he arrived he only scented the trouble, and therefore chased after it, only to be met with horror.
None of the pups remember this because they were too young. As far as they know Mitsuna is their mother and Mitsuna's half-blood son, Shadow, is their brother. They grew up carefree and Atka has yet to tell them anything of what happened to their true mother. He knows that that is what Sakari would want of him. To wait until the pups were adults and could take the knowledge of their mother's death at the hands of humans.

Personality: This little femme is the biggest schemer of all her siblings, and is the usual leader in carrying out those schemes. She's always getting into trouble and going against what is told to her. Rules mean nothing in her mind, and her way of dealing with anything tossed her way is a sharp word or a nip to the ear. Trouble is her middle name, and Atka isn't sure how this is going to transmit into her adulthood. He believes there's a possibility that she will become a fierce alpha someday, or that she might end up getting on someone's bad side and getting herself killed. It all depends on how her personality changes and encompasses her over the next year or so into adulthood.
Qilaq's one major fear would have to be of rivers. She fell in one the first time she'd left the den and Atka had had to save her from drowning. Ever since it has laid dormant in her mind for whenever she gets near water, though of course she has to in order to drink, but that's totally different than having to actually get in the water and swim in it.

Personality: Just as his name would imply, Ipiktok is a very keen, sharp young pup. He knows what's around him, and makes sure that he learns everything he can about a situation before jumping in. Of course, there's always exceptions, and Ipiktok's would be anything concerning his sister, Qilaq. The two of them love to fight and duke it out for the head position because both are headstrong and want to follow in Atka's footsteps as a great Alpha and possibly even lead wolf. Ipiktok would do anything to prove to his father that he is perfect for following in his place as the next lead wolf, and it means more to him to hear praise from Atka than it does hearing spite from Qilaq. He's truly a daddy's boy and sticks by Atka's side as much as he can to learn from him.
Atka is Ipiktok's role model, and he wants to be just like him when he grows up. He knows their father is not only strong, but he's loyal and kind as well, and would do anything for them. Unlike his sisters, Ipiktok sees the grief behind Atka's eyes and has pestered him time and time again for what is wrong, but Atka only ever tells him he'll let him know when he's an adult. It hurts Ipiktok, but it never wavers his opinion of Atka. He knows his father would only ever refuse to tell them if he didn't believe they could take it.
